Nov 10, 2015, Dubai – The Dubai Airshow 2015 is a pretty spectacular event, with hundreds of aircraft on display and thousands of visitors from around the world. Combine that with amazing demonstrations of fighter jets during the airshow segment, and it is clear that there is a lot of interest in aviation in the Middle East.
Spike Aerospace President & CEO Vik Kachoria and Chief Engineer Dr. Anutosh Moitra are at the event, busy having very productive meetings with senior executives from leading aerospace companies.
“There is tremendous interest in the Spike S-512 Quiet Supersonic Jet and the potential for partnerships, affiliations, or other collaboration. In the coming weeks, we expect to announce several new Supersonic Innovation Partners working towards the development of this aircraft. Our conversations have focused around the opportunity that supersonic flight creates for this region and its passengers. Our aerospace partners are discussing how they can help bring that opportunity to market by 2021”, said Mr. Kachoria.
“Naturally, there is a lot of interest in going to Europe or the US, but it seems there is now almost more interest in going to Africa or the Near East where all the new exciting developments and opportunities are. The Spike S-512 will make those destinations easier and faster to reach.”
