Job Description:

As a Human Resources Specialist at Spike Aerospace, you will spearhead the recruitment and initial screening of candidates for engineering roles, ensuring a fit with our high standards and innovative culture. This remote position offers flexibility, requiring a dedicated professional capable of working independently to connect us with the best aerospace engineering talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Sourcing and Recruitment:
    • Develop targeted strategies to attract skilled engineers, utilizing job boards, social media, and professional networks.
    • Manage job postings and recruitment outreach efforts effectively.
  • Initial Screening and Interviews:
    • Conduct preliminary interviews to evaluate candidates’ qualifications and alignment with role requirements.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to move forward with promising candidates.
  • Communication and Candidate Management:
    • Act as the primary point of communication for candidates, providing timely responses and updates throughout the recruitment process.
    • Ensure consistent and clear communication with hiring managers regarding candidate status and recruitment needs.
  • Administrative and Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions.
    • Ensure all recruitment practices comply with applicable employment laws.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Demonstrated experience in HR, with a focus on recruiting technical or engineering staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to effectively manage a remote, part-time schedule.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and recruiting software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
